The minimum requirements are:
- Government-issued identification
- Tax Registration Number (TRN), if your identification is not a driver’s licence
- Proof address
- Last three (3) months payslips
Depending on our assessment, we may require additional support which may include:
- A guarantor, with all the mandatory requirements listed above
- Last three (3) months bank statement
- Proof of additional income
- Collateral
A credit check is required for new clients seeking loans of principal greater than J$150,000.00 or with tenure greater than six (6) months.
Loans are disbursed via cheque, or electronically to the borrower or a third-party, based on written instructions from the borrower. Note: We do not disburse via cash.
Yes, and a borrower will NEVER be penalized for early repayment either through the levying of penalty charges. Instead, the interest due will be calculated up to the date of repayment and all unearned interest will be waived.
Before making the final payment, you should contact our office via telephone or email, and request the balance due to close the loan.
The Company’s complete list and charges are as follows, which will be explicitly stated in our loan agreement:
- A loan processing fee, which ranges between 2% and 4%, or a minimum of J$3,000.00. This fee is only payable if your loan has been approved.
- A returned cheque fee of J$2,500.00 is payable if a client cheque has been returned
- A late payment fee, which is equivalent to twenty percent (20.0%) of the installment amount and is applied on the eleventh (11th) day of arrears. Note, this can be avoided by proactively discussing a potential late payment with a representative.
- A debt collection fee of equivalent to thirty percent (30.0%) of the outstanding loan balance, if a client’s loan has been escalated to a collector. Note: An account is escalated to a collector as the very last option available to the Company; which is usually a result of the client’s perceived reluctance to honour his obligations.
The Company will NEVER charge the following fees:
- Processing fee, if the loan application has been rejected.
- Unearned (not yet due) interest.
- Fees to provide any form of a statement of an account
- The client will receive a copy of all loan documents that were signed upon approval of the loan.
- The client will receive a notice, including a receipt, via email whenever a repayment has been applied to the loan.
- A client will receive a loan closure notice, including a full statement of the loan from the disbursement date to the date of closure.
